Beanie Bowler Information:

Beanie Bowlers was organized in 1981 by John Haufe and Fred Klim. Since then we meet weekly for great comradeship, friendly competition and bantering and some so-so bowling. Each week the bowler with the most pathetic score is awarded the Beans Trophy. Click here for a brief history of the Beanie Bowlers Trophy .

Party Time - May 11th, mark your calendar!

This year's party has been scheduled for May 11 at the Grange Hall on the corner of Old Route 35 and Grange Hall Road.  Everyone has a great time.  Don't forget to pay your $30 for admission.

The 2011-2012 Season is winding down!

The last day of bowling will be April 19, the third Thursday of the month.

If you are one of the five unlucky souls who have won the Beans this year, don't forget to show up for the year-end roll off.  We can only hope that a couple more bowlers will join the list.

This Week's BEANS
Scoring this week was strange. We had some wonderful bowling, led by Tom Day with a terrific 702 series. Tom led off his second game with nine straight strikes for a 277! Don Greishop had a fine 639 series. Yet, the high score in the third game was only 219. While that is good bowling, it's low for a high game with 29 bowlers. The Beans in the first game, went to Mal Schubert with a rather high 152. Too high for a Beans winner. But the next lowest Beans score turned out to be a 155 in the second game. Mal ran out before we could get a picture, but it won't work Mal. I had a file picture! Your pictures and trophy will be at the party on May 11!
